In a new interview, The DMW records boss Davido has disclosed some facts about rich people pikin which he claimed that many were still broke because they feel like they don’t need to work or aspire to be anything.
It is no news that the Adeleke family are one of the most influential and wealthy families in Nigeria. According to Davido, most rich kids don’t feel the need to work hard because of the wealth already acquired by their parents.
The singer made this remark in a new interview where he revealed he was really broke at a point in his life.
However, he was able to reach the top and earn his name through hard work and not because of his father’s influence which many believe.
The father of three admitted that his dad still paid his dues and he also recounted that his mum died when he was just 11 years old and by then, he knew what he needed to do.
Davido said the cycle in his family was to go to school, graduate and work for his father but he had to push to become the singer he is, thus defying all odds.
US President Donald Trump has announced sweeping travel restrictions on 26 European countries in a bid to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
The measures apply to travelers from countries which are members of the Schengen border-free travel area.
The UK, Ireland and other non-Schengen countries are unaffected. Exemptions are also being made for US citizens.
In an address to the nation President Trump said the “strong but necessary” actions would help protect Americans.
The new rules go into effect on Friday at midnight EDT and mark a major escalation from the US president, who has been accused of inaction over coronavirus.
There are 1,135 confirmed cases of the virus across the US, with 38 deaths so far.
Oscar-winning actor, Tom Hanks and his wife, actress Rita Wilson, have tested positive for coronavirus in Australia, the actor said on Twitter.
Hanks said he and Wilson, both 63, were tested in Australia, where he is working on a film after they felt tired and achy with slight fevers.
He took to his Twitter to announce to the world and keep people posted as the family fights off the virus
